- Using design templates well
- Re-using training materials

Case study one, DWP: Using an LCMS for learning at work
How does an LCMS differ from an LMS, and why would you consider using one for creating and delivering training? In this webinar, PA Consulting's Paul Wendt examines how large organisations are using an LCMS to enable their own employees to develop online training across thousands of employees, like the Department for Work and Pensions which improved the speed of training delivery for new employee introduction that previously took up to 13 weeks in the classroom.
Case study two, AgustaWestland: From cottage industry to international delivery
Malcolm Strange of AgustaWestland describes the defence and engineering company’s training five years ago as being ‘like a cottage industry’. How did it transform from that small scale operation to developing 74,000 people spread over 8 countries? And what problems did he uncover along the way? Was the ease of creation and distribution of learning materials matched by the complexities of grabbling with SCORM compliance? And what tips would he give someone setting off down the same path?
