Information on the Learning and Skills Group Conference 2009 will be available from February 2009.
Learning and Skills Group Conference
On 30th April 2008 over 250 delegates and more than 30 speakers and facilitators gathered at Olympia for the Learning and Skills Group Conference to discuss, interact and share experiences - good and bad - on organisational learning, and the ever-changing technology used to support learning in the workplace.
The theme for the conference was 'building together'. It was the opportunity to begin building an understanding of contemporary learning and development and supporting each other in it: from establishing how to set a learning strategy to understanding when and how to deploy learning technologies.
And the content and structure for this unique free follow-up event to Learning Technologies 2008 was created entirely through interaction and feedback from those that attended the January event.
The one-day conference programme consisted of a variety of session types from single speaker presentations to 'cafe' style sessions, and from hands-on practical workshops to special interest and industry groups - with delegates hearing great speakers, but also sharing their own experiences through the interactive sessions.
It will also the chance to network again with the colleagues and speakers you met in January, see some technologies in action in the sponsor demo area and of course continue the learning, collaboration and knowledge sharing throughout the year.
What does it cost?
- Entry to the Learning and Skills Group Conference is free for Learning Technologies conference delegates.
- Non-conference delegates can attend (and be members of the Group) by invitation only.
